Who is the Wheel strategy for?
Retail investors with $5,000–$100,000 of capital who want to generate monthly income from stocks they would happily own. You should understand what a Put and a Call are before starting. WheelAI explains the rest.
How much capital do I need?
You can run the Wheel with as little as $1,000–$2,500 on lower-priced names. Most users start with $5k–$25k. WheelAI’s AI screener filters suggestions based on the capital you tell it you have.
How is this different from owning stocks directly?
Buying and holding earns you whatever the stock does. The Wheel adds a layer of monthly premium on top — you get paid for being willing to buy stocks at lower prices and sell them at higher ones. The trade-off is you cap your upside on the way up.
Is my trade data safe?
Yes. Every position you log is stored in SwiftData on your device. WheelAI does not have a server-side copy of your portfolio, and there is no login or account to compromise.
Is the AI suggestion a recommendation to trade?
No. WheelAI’s AI is a research assistant — it summarizes the math, surfaces candidates, and explains tradeoffs in plain English. You are responsible for every trade you place. We say this in the app, too.
Does WheelAI execute trades?
No. WheelAI is a tracking and advisory app. You place trades in your existing broker (Robinhood, Fidelity, Schwab, IBKR, etc.) and log them in WheelAI in 10 seconds.
